I managed to nip into Stromness for a few minutes late this afternoon. The light for pictures was not great but I took a few snaps. I couldn't find the reported 300 but I did see 60 or so.
Thanks Nick, trying out the new camera. Some things I don't like but the extra focal length and better focusing are an improvement. Yes, I think they've come out pretty well, the light was very poor.
Thanks Kathleen, the low light made things a bit tricky but it worked out pretty well I thought. Still some Waxwings around in Stromness, bit of a jaunt for yourself though.
